With a total investment of 520 million yuan ($74.92 million), the newly launched East China base integrates research, testing, manufacturing, operations, marketing, and training. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 330,000 sets of medical products.
Liu Jian, chairman of TransEasy, said the company will use the new facility as a starting point to further increase investment in research and development, accelerate product innovation and upgrades, better serve clinical needs, and strive to become a benchmark enterprise in the regional medical device industry.
In recent years, WND has concentrated on expanding into global frontiers in life and health sciences, accelerating the development of a biomedical ecosystem that boasts strong international competitiveness. By 2025, the district's biomedical industry exceeded 100 billion yuan in scale, accounting for nearly half of Wuxi's total and ranking among the top biomedical parks nationwide.

The district is also actively identifying future growth areas, including nuclear medicine, brain-computer interfaces, and cell and gene therapy.
